Mary Hibbard, Ph.D., Director of Research at the RTC on Community Integration of Individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury,
Mt. Sinai Medical Center, was awarded the Congressman Ted Weiss Consumer Advocacy Award by the Brain Injury Association of New York State at their annual meeting in June, 1999. Dr. Hibbard
received the award for overall excellence in TBI rehabilitation. The award commemorates the late Congressman Ted Weiss who exposed corruption in the TBI rehabilitation industry during the 1980s and
