Data are reported for the following Disability Categories:

Vision, Motor, Hearing, Multiple, Cognitive, as well as All Disabilities, None, Rather not say.

Disability questions were not asked in the first Survey, conducted January 1994. Data are reported for the following GVU World Wide Web User's Surveys that are conducted in April and October of each year:

2nd (October, 1994) Total number of respondents was 3,522.
3rd (April, 1995) Total number of respondents was 13,006 (Note: when all categories are added, the total is 13,004).
4th (October, 1995) Total number of respondents was 23,348.
5th (April, 1996) Total number of respondents was 11,736.
Note: Disability questions were not asked in the 6th (October, 1996) and 7th (April, 1997) Surveys.
8th (October, 1997) Total number of respondents was 10,109.
9th (April, 1998) Total number of respondents was 12,591.

Following are the responses for the category Vision.

2nd survey: 118 or 3.5 percent.
3rd survey: 396 or 3.04 percent.
4th survey: 802 or 3.43 percent.
5th survey: 436 or 3.72 percent.
8th survey: 447 or 4.42.percent.
9th survey: 520 or 4.1 percent.

Following are the responses for the category Motor.

2nd survey: 23 or .65 percent.
3rd survey: 123 or .95 percent.
4th survey: 196 or .84 percent.
5th survey: 116 or .99 percent.
