About the Presenters
Dr. Jan Brożek is a general internist with special interest in allergy and immunology. He is currently an assistant professor in the department of Clinical
Epidemiology & Biostatistics at McMaster University (Ontario). He has been involved in the efforts of the GRADE Working Group and the development of software (GRADEpro) to facilitate the creation of evidence summaries for systematic reviews and guideline panels. He is a member of the Cochrane Collaboration's Applicability and Recommendations Methods Group and serves as Co-Chair of the World Allergy Organization (WAO) Special Committee on Evidence Based Medicine and Methodology.
Dr. Yngve Falck-Ytter is assistant professor of medicine at Case Western Reserve University and director of hepatology at the VA Medical Center, Cleveland. His research interest focuses on clinical trials as well as research methodology and evidence translation. He is a long-term member of the GRADE working group and has been a methodology consultant to national and international organizations such as the AHRQ, NICE, the European CDC, the WHO, US Gastroenterology societies, ACCP, and UpToDate.
